Nucleic Resources Fluorescein phosphoramidite may be used to directly add fluorescein dye to the 5' end of an oligonucleotide. This amidite does not contain a DMT protecting group and can only be added to the 5' terminus of the oligonucleotide and the DMT group cannot be used as a lipophilic handle for purification (as it does not exist). This product is a mixture of 5 and 6 carboxyfluorescein isomers. If single isomer fluorescein amidite is required, please see 6-FAM amidite, code no. NR0006.
